Remote Construction Operations Coordinator 

Location: Remote - Latin America (must overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours)

Davies Contracting & Inspections is a full-service general contractor and home services company based in Morehead City, North Carolina. The team serves coastal communities, including Emerald Isle and nearby areas, working on remodeling, construction, multi-family properties, plumbing, HVAC, water heaters, and related services. We are hiring a remote operations coordinator to support project coordination, documentation, and operational organization. 

This remote role is designed for someone who understands construction operations and enjoys keeping projects organized behind the scenes. You will help support Buildertrend, update project information, organize documentation, track follow-ups, and help the team improve how work flows through the business. This is a hands-on support role for someone who can communicate clearly, work independently, and help build clean systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Buildertrend workflows, project files, schedules, and reports
• Help document the scopes of work, SOPs, checklists, and internal processes
• Track project updates, follow-ups, financial notes, and open operational items
• Support reporting, spreadsheets, and visibility into project backlog or billing items
• Help organize client and internal communication records
• Assist with role documentation and process improvement across departments
• Coordinate with team members to keep information current and accurate
• Provide administrative support for construction and service operations as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in construction administration, project coordination, operations, or estimating support
• BuilderTrend experience strongly preferred
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken
• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple details at once
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, reporting, documentation, and cloud-based systems
• Able to work remotely with strong overlap during U.S. Eastern Time business hours
• Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive with follow-up
• Experience with U.S.-based construction, remodeling, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical companies is a plus

Pay and benefits

• Independent contractor (1099-style international contractor arrangement) 
• Pay range: $10.00 - $18.00 USD per hour, depending on experience and skill level
